The only thing I would change is cooking your sauce in a stainless steel pan or Le Creuset so the food/colors showed up better. Otherwise? You hit all the points they seem to love for TNFNS. Family. Tradition. Recipe innovation. Also, you look & sound fantastic! Ah, nearly forgot - Dish it Out, baby! LOVE.
