Michael Jackson.

I promise not to turn Spatagram into celeb obits online, but this day is insane.

What with just losing Ed McMahon, Johnny Carson's right hand man and one of the most amazing men in show business, we lose Farrah Fawcett a 70's icon and stunning spirit. To further that, out goes the King Of Pop.

Michael Jackson is the third of the Celebrity Deaths that always go together. This 3 though, is epic as it totally brings mine and my contemporaries mortality into focus. My youth is transferring into spirit and my memories are pouring out. This record, "Thriller" was the most important album of my time and arguably, of all time.

His tortured existence was well documented but cant belay the fact that he was the greatest entertainer the World ever saw. His legacy will be remembered as that of an incredibly creative force that blasted Pop music into every ear. Such a talent. God bless Michael.

Farrah Fawcett.

So I was a happy little boy when I got my Farrah Fawcett poster. I hung it proudly on my bedroom door. Oddly enough I hung it on the outside of the door, facing the hallway Maybe I did this to mark my goddess' arrival and that I was part of the curve. I was more trendy then anything else I guess. If it was true hetero lust she would have been hanging over my bed under the upper bunk.

An angel gets her wings, Farrah passed away today at age 62. Farrah fought long and hard in her battle with cancer and I wish her the peace she deserves.
